Airborne campaigns overview
Explore the map below to see the locations of our measurement sites which have been covered by airborne campaigns.
The HyPlant imaging spectrometer is a high-performance airborne instrument consisting of two sensor modules. The DUAL module records hyperspectral data in the spectral range from 400–2500 nm with a spectral resolution of 3 nm in the VIS/NIR and 10 nm in the SWIR spectral region. Hyperspectral radiance data are converted into top-of-canopy reflectance using MODRAN for atmospheric correction and a custom-made processing pipeline that numerically corrects for sensor characteristics (see Siegmann et al. (2021)) for a detailed description of HyPlant and data processing.
