Metadata
The FloXBox is designed by JB-Hyperspectral and consists of the two spectrometeres FLUO and FULL. The FLUO spectrometer measures the fluorescence spectrum between 650 nm and 800 nm with a high spectral resolution, while the FULL spectrometer measures the full range of visible light between 450 nm and 950 nm with a coarser spectral resolution. Both spectrometers are connected to a cosine diffuser via fiber optics, measuring the incoming solar radiation as well as the reflected radiation from the vegetation canopy. The FloXBox is equipped with a temperature and humidity sensor inside the measurement chamber to monitor environmental conditions during data acquisition. We processed the raw radiometer measurements of the FloxBox and provide a netcdf dataset with the following variables extracted from the measurements.
